The end of the quarter is rapidly approaching. I will not accept ANY late work after Friday, March 29th! This is especially important for 8th graders finishing up their documentaries! 8th graders have had the ENTIRE nine weeks to complete these projects and they will not be accepted late!!!
My 6th grade class came in yesterday with an odd request: CAN WE PLEASE DO A HARLEM SHAKE?!?!? With the parameters of "We have to finish in 5 minutes or less and still get our work done for today," we went for it. Happy Monday!
8th grade students are working on their documentaries. They are due NO LATER than March 28th. Students have had the ENTIRE third nine weeks to work on this project that accounts for two thirds of their third nine weeks grade. I will not accept late documentaries since students have had more than enough time to complete this project. Remind your students that I am available during their SOAR every day. Also remind them to be sure to use their time wisely!
March is a very busy time for students in all grades of Video Media! 8th graders are steadily working on their documentaries. Each group has chosen a topic to showcase in an 8 minute long documentary. Look for some of these on our last broadcasts of the year next nine weeks!
7th grade students are doing one of two things. They are either beginning our newsletter by getting their story assignments and news beats, OR they are learning how to create polls on their websites. Both are a lot of fun! 6th graders are just about to start their video editing unit! This is hands down the most popular unit for all of my 6th grade classes! I look foward to watching them learn and have fun while doing it! |
